I employ a positive, strength-based perspective when helping men and women with anxiety, depression, and adjustment issues.
Often people enter therapy for help with dealing with the loss of a loved one, divorce, work stress, or relationship problems. What they often find, is that therapy helps all aspects of their lives.
While in graduate school, I researched extensively the emotional impact of infertility while writing my dissertation on implementing therapy with individuals who are experiencing fertility problems. In addition, I volunteered with Resolve, a national support organization for people dealing with infertility. I continue to be interested in reproductive issues and supporting people on their path to parenthood.
Reasons that adults seek therapy include:
- depression
- anxiety
- panic attacks
- body image/eating issues
- difficulties with loved ones
